Nettrekker - This wonderful search engine will guide you to safe, informative, interactive age appropriate website on any topic you need to research. Use this instead of Google! Students use thier six digit code followed by _wayne. (No spaces.) The password is the student's numerical birthdate. Example: username: 012345_wayne password: 01012000
Brain Pop Jr. - This website contains information for all areas of the curriculum from science to social studies. Students can watch video clips and then answer quizzes about what they have listened to and viewed. Username & Password: bp_apt
Math Cats - Math is fun, especially on this website. It presents interesting math facts, art with math, reinforcement of basic skills, and even work with tessellations.
FunBrain - This website contains educational games and fun activities, plus information on subjects of interest to elementary school students.
StarFall - This is a free learn to read site especially for pre-k, k, 1st and 2nd grade students.
Scholastic - Scholastic's site contains entertainment news, games, and educational web pages especially geared to popular books, i.e. I SPY, CLIFFORD, and CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS. The Homework Hub is a good place to find a flashcard maker, spelling helpers, and book report "how to's."
Internet4classrooms - A compendium of educational sites that can be used across the curriculum. Parents can assist their children with reading comprehension, main idea, making graphs, math skills, etc.
EasyTech - Our district subscribes to this site to support technology education for Wayne Public School students from K through 8th grade. This link will take you to the web site. Once there, your child can log in using the six digit student ID number from school (lunch number with a zero in the front. The password is his/her eight digit birthdate (for example: mm/dd/yyyy - zeros for single digit days  and months  plus birth year ). District is, of course,Wayne. Student usage is tracked throughout the district, so please make sure that your child makes best use of these wonderful, interactive lessons.
Search and Give - Microsoft and Scholastic have teamed up to create "Search and Give" which is an automatic way for our school to make money. All we have to do is use Search and Give.com which is a simple way to search the web. So internet searches by our school's supporters will generate tickets that will be donated to our school's account. At the end of the year these tickets get converted to cash. Enrollment is FREE! Please enroll and use. Save in your favorites and Happy Searching!
Virtual Manipulatives - This wonderful web site was created to give children the abilty to to use manipulatives the fun way! No password needed, just click on your grade level and find the activity that matches your math lesson and you are on your way.
Internet Public Library - Kidspace at the Internet Public Library is wonderful for all your research needs!
Helping Children Learn- Check out this great newsletter. It is updated on the first of the month.
EBSCO - A great resource for research information from databases. It also has language databases and Novelist (a place to learn what all the hottest books are)!
